The first shortlists for the Dubai Lynx have been released, with the major networks dominating and the independents failing to make a mark.
A total of 82 entries have been shortlisted in the print category; 47 in craft/print; 70 in media; 57 in outdoor; and 36 in direct & sales promotion.
In the print category, the JWT network has the most shortlisted entries with 18, followed by Y&R on 14 and TBWA\Raad on 12. The same agencies dominate the craft/print category, with Brandcom Middle East getting six.
In media, Starcom tops the list with 15, while OMD has 13 and Memac Ogilvy 8. Outdoor sees JWT and Y&R lead the way, while Memac Ogilvy picks up 16 shortlisted entries in direct and sales & promotion.
The winners will be announced on Wednesday at the Dubai Lynx awards. More shortlists will be available tomorrow.
